The one-line version
Blued is a social platform with dating in it — live streaming, feeds, broadcast. Meyou is a conversation product — small interest rooms where you talk before you match. Both serve Chinese-speaking users across Southeast Asia; they just aim at different behaviour.

Where Blued is better
Scale. A much larger user base, particularly among Chinese-speaking users in Malaysia and Singapore. More people means more options.
Live streaming. If you enjoy the broadcast and live layer, Blued built a genuinely successful product around it. We don't have anything like it and aren't building one.
Maturity. Years of development and a wide feature set.
Where we think Meyou is better
Verification on every account. Not optional, not a badge you can skip. This is the single biggest difference in day-to-day experience — the volume of scam and fake accounts is dramatically lower when everyone has proven they're real.
Interest-first rather than feed-first. A feed is something you consume. A room is something you participate in. If your goal is meeting a specific person rather than browsing content, rooms get you there more directly.
Privacy defaults. Approximate location, optional, off-switch available. No live broadcast means far less about you is public by default.
Built here. We're in Kuala Lumpur, building for Southeast Asia rather than adapting a product designed for a different market.
The honest trade-off
We're much smaller. In cities where Blued has thousands of active users and we have dozens, more people is genuinely more useful, and no amount of better design fixes an empty room. If you're outside our stronger markets, that's a real reason to pick something else for now.
Which should you use
If you want scale and enjoy the live/social layer, Blued does that well. If you want verified profiles, stronger privacy defaults, and conversations that start from something in common, that's what we built.
